Independent Contractor Status: By registering as a Service Provider on SyncPro, I acknowledge and agree that I am operating as an independent contractor and NOT as an employee of SyncPro. I am solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local taxes, including but not limited to income tax, self-employment tax, GST/HST, and any other taxes required by law.

Professional Certification & Qualifications: I certify and warrant that I am a legitimate, qualified professional in the service category(ies) I have selected. I possess all necessary licenses, certifications, permits, and insurance required by applicable laws and regulations to perform the services I offer. I understand that misrepresentation of my qualifications may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

Job Completion Responsibility: I accept full responsibility for completing any job I have agreed to undertake. I understand that once I accept a job, I am obligated to complete the work to the client's reasonable satisfaction. If a job is not completed or the client is not satisfied with the quality of work, it is my responsibility to resolve the issue, which may include redoing the work or providing a refund. Payment will only be released upon client approval of the completed work.

Workmanship Standards: I agree to perform all services in a professional, workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. I will use appropriate materials, tools, and techniques to ensure quality results. I understand that poor workmanship may result in disputes, refund requirements, and negative reviews.

Ratings & Reviews: I acknowledge that clients will rate and review my work upon job completion. These ratings and reviews will be publicly displayed on my provider profile and portfolio. I understand that maintaining a high rating is essential for receiving job opportunities on the platform. I agree not to solicit, coerce, or manipulate clients into providing favorable reviews.

Payment Terms: I understand that SyncPro collects payments from clients and holds funds in escrow until job completion is confirmed. A platform service fee (commission) will be deducted from each payment before funds are released to me. I agree that all payments for services rendered through SyncPro must be processed through the platform. Requesting or accepting payment outside of SyncPro is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Platform Role & Limitations: I understand and acknowledge that SyncPro's sole responsibility is to provide a platform to connect clients with service providers. SyncPro is not a party to any service agreement between myself and clients. SyncPro does not supervise, direct, or control my work, nor does it guarantee the quality of my services. All contractual relationships, obligations, and liabilities exist solely between myself and the client.

Insurance & Liability: I acknowledge that I am responsible for maintaining appropriate liability insurance for my services. SyncPro is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that occur during the performance of my services. I agree to indemnify and hold SyncPro harmless from any claims arising from my work.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute or client dissatisfaction, I accept full responsibility for resolving the issue directly with the client. SyncPro does not mediate, arbitrate, or intervene in disputes between providers and clients. It is my obligation to make the client whole — whether by redoing work, providing a partial or full refund, or reaching a mutually agreeable resolution. Failure to resolve client issues may result in negative reviews, account restrictions, or termination.

Code of Conduct: I agree to conduct myself professionally at all times, treat clients with respect, arrive on time for scheduled appointments, communicate clearly and promptly, and maintain the confidentiality of client information.

Account Verification: I consent to SyncPro verifying my identity, qualifications, and background as part of the provider approval process. I understand that providing false information will result in immediate account termination.
